Privacy Policy

GeBIZ AI ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, AI-powered procurement intelligence service. We aggregate publicly available information on Singapore government procurement opportunities from the GeBIZ portal, from open datasets published on data.gov.sg and from other relevant public sources, and use it to provide intelligent alerts, personalised filtering, opportunity matching, awards intelligence and AI-powered analysis for businesses. Alerts are delivered by email, Telegram, WhatsApp or webhook, depending on your plan.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it is handled, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

2. Why we collect it
- To create and secure your account, and deliver the tender alerts you've subscribed to.
- To send alerts via the channel(s) you've chosen, email, Telegram, WhatsApp, or webhook.
- To process subscription payments and manage billing.
- To improve category/keyword suggestions based on your company profile (optional, only if you fill it in).
- To detect abuse and keep the service secure (e.g. rate-limiting login attempts).
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary data with the service providers below, solely to operate GeBIZ AI:
- Stripe / HitPay: payment processing (billing name, email, amount).
- Email delivery provider (SMTP): to send alert and account emails.
- Telegram / Meta (WhatsApp via Green API): only if you opt into those alert channels.
- Google / Meta (Facebook): only if you choose "Sign in with Google/Facebook"; we receive your verified email and name, nothing else.
- Anthropic: if you use the AI Tender Summary feature (Pro/Business), the relevant tender text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a summary. Your account data is not shared with Anthropic.
We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. Visitor statistics are collected by Umami, privacy-focused analytics software running on our own server, no visit data is sent to any outside company, no cookies are set, and the data is not linked to your account. 4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Account settings, where it is erased immediately rather than queued for review, except where we're required to retain billing records for accounting/tax purposes under Singapore law. 5. Your rights
Under the PDPA, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Most of this is self-service from your Account settings; for anything else, email us at support@gebiz.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (a session token). No cookies are set by us, and no third-party tracking or advertising scripts run on this site. Our visitor analytics is self-hosted and also cookieless. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of what we store in your browser and how to opt out of analytics.
7. Data security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.
8. Not affiliated with GeBIZ or the Singapore Government
GeBIZ AI is an independent, privately operated procurement intelligence and notification service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorised by, operated by, or otherwise associated with the Government of Singapore, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), or the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) system. Tender information is sourced from publicly available information and official RSS feeds provided by GeBIZ, from open datasets published on data.gov.sg, and from other relevant public sources.
Contains information from Government Procurement via GeBIZ, published by the Ministry of Finance, accessed on an ongoing basis from data.gov.sg, which is made available under the terms of the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
